Recently I did a fire safety talk in a shopping mall. I shared very basic practical information with the audience. The whole event is about properties. All of the panel speakers are experts in property investment, rental profits, mortgage tips etc. I was the only speaker talking about fire safety.
I am not going to talk about my sharing points expect one incident. One of the things I talked about was using common sense when it comes to safety. One of the examples I gave was when people go for a cigarette smoke in a shopping mall parking area where all the cars are parked. I finished my talk and I was walking to the parking lot towards my car and guess what...somebody was smoking at the parking floor, just five cars away from my car. To avoid any unnecessary confrontation, I went back to the mall, found one of the security guards and informed them about someone smoking at the parking level. You can imagine how I felt. Just finished talking about it and there and then, someone was doing it. If there is one place where people should never smoke, its in a multi level car park area. That's it, just felt like sharing this experience here. Be safe dear friends.
